Owcasklep.pl is a D2C family brand that creates high quality merino wool clothing and accessories. It arose from the need to return to simplicity and well-made things. Sheep products are designed and sewn in small, local manufactories, with attention to every detail and concern for the environment. The brand enjoys a strong social media community — especially on Instagram — and a loyal customer base, as evidenced by more than 1,300 store and product reviews.
Owcasklep.pl previously operated on the IdoSell platform, but its limitations have become a barrier to further development. The client wanted to create a minimalist but intuitive store with the possibility of video presentation of selected products, automation of logistics processes and implementation of solutions compliant with the Omnibus directive (e.g. display of the lowest price from 30 days).
The previous platform limited the ability to personalize the store interface, which made it difficult for the brand to stand out from the competition. Changes to the template required costly programming intervention. For a brand that is based on aesthetics and a coherent image, this was a significant hindrance. The lack of freedom in the design of the site also negatively affected the user experience and conversion.
Scaling logistics and operational processes has been an increasing challenge. The lack of automation and integration with shipping and return management systems resulted in a lot of manual labor. During periods of increased demand, the team found it difficult to maintain a high level of customer service. The increasing number of orders required a more efficient system.
Any additional functionality — from a simple meter to free delivery to integrations with external systems — required costly development. Long lead times and additional fees have slowed down the implementation of innovations. For a dynamically growing brand, this was a big constraint. These processes limited the flexibility of marketing and operational activities.
Operating the store at the operational level was time-consuming and required training of new employees. Navigation in the system was illegible, which hampered the daily work of the team. Making changes to products, managing orders or reviewing data required many steps. This reduced work efficiency and increased the risk of errors.
Filtering products by material, size or color was difficult to implement in a way that met customer expectations. The lack of logical and intuitive navigation resulted in user frustration and negatively impacted conversions. In a store with such a diverse assortment as Owcasklep.pl, well-designed filters are key. The current platform did not offer flexible solutions in this regard.
Working closely with the client, we completed a comprehensive migration from IdoSell to Shopify. Our project included activities such as:
“We decided to move our Owcasklep.pl store from IdoSell to Shopify — and we knew from the beginning that we needed an experienced partner who would not only walk us through the entire technical process, but also understand the nature of our brand. The choice fell on the attoms — and today we can safely say that it was a very good decision.
Attomy team took care of every step of the migration — from data transfer, through integration configuration, to fine-tuning the look and functionality of the store. Everything went smoothly, on time and with great attention to detail. Equally important — we had real support at every stage, and communication was fast, clear and partnered. Effect? Owcasklep.pl works today exactly as we wanted: faster, more convenient and fully in line with our vision. We can confidently recommend working with Attomy to anyone thinking of migrating to Shopify.”
“Owca brand owners are blood-and-blood entrepreneurs with an artistic soul. Their store was to be not only as functional as possible, but also beautiful, discreet and minimalist. We spent a couple of hours in initial talks discussing their vision. In the end, we found the perfect balance and the end result exceeded their expectations.”
