For years, it has operated on the Shopify platform in a B2C model, targeting active customers who value comfort, style, and high quality. Challenges

Although the store operated on Shopify, the Sportowybutik.pl team was not fully utilizing the platform's potential. The existing theme was outdated, and content and process management required complex manual work. As the business grew, these issues became increasingly apparent, and the limitations negatively impacted daily operations and business results.

It became clear that for further development, it was necessary to migrate to Shopify 2.0, improve UX, and implement new features to boost engagement and sales.

The store was running on an older theme version, which limited editing and development capabilities. It lacked features typical of Shopify 2.0, such as modular sections, automations, and new content management options.

The store's structure required improvements – from product filtering to homepage layout and product pages. One of the main challenges was to enhance user comfort and simplify the purchasing process.

The store needed tools for automation and streamlining key processes (Shopify Flow, Shopify Mail).

A significant problem was the absence of popular features, including a wishlist, cross-selling, and tools for flexible management of promotional campaigns.

Solution

Sportowybutik.pl chose attomy as its technology and consulting partner. Our task was to guide the store through the migration to a new Shopify 2.0 theme and implement a series of optimizations to improve both user experience and team workflow. The collaboration also included strategic support for further eCommerce development.

Migration to Shopify 2.0 and a new theme

We implemented a newer version of Shopify, which enabled better section management, simpler content editing, and flexible layout adaptation to brand needs. We designed the homepage section layout using client materials, giving them a consistent rhythm and functional order.

New functionalities and UX optimization

We added a wishlist, improved product filtering, introduced cross-selling ("Bought together"), and cart recommendations. The Shop The Look section was styled according to the brand's visual identity. We enhanced product pages, enriching them with additional information and size selection mechanisms.

Automation and operational development

We implemented Shopify Flow and Shopify Mail tools for automation (e.g., abandoned carts), as well as an application for managing promotional campaigns. We launched Shopify Markets, enabling the store to prepare for international sales.
