Challenges

SANTAMADRE entered the Polish market with a mature sales model developed in Spain, but needed a local implementation strategy that would allow for a quick launch of D2C sales, while simultaneously preparing the brand to serve B2B customers.

The key challenge was to create a cohesive e-commerce ecosystem based on Shopify, encompassing UX, development, data migration, and adapting sales processes to Polish realities, including integration with local delivery methods. Concurrently, it was necessary to build a central system for operations management. The brand needed a solution that would combine B2C and B2B sales with order processing, accounting, CRM, and purchasing in one place. [SEG 6] ‍

The solution designed by attomy was based on two proven technologies: Shopify, which served to launch a modern D2C and B2B channel, and Odoo Enterprise .sh, acting as a central system for managing orders, accounting, CRM, and purchasing. As part of the project, attomy prepared an implementation strategy, designed the UX and developed the Shopify store, carried out data migration from the Spanish market, and implemented a B2B platform based on native Shopify functionalities, creating a cohesive environment for handling retail and business sales.

Solution

Effective Shopify store for D2C sales

We prepared SANTAMADRE's implementation strategy for the Polish market, taking into account direct sales needs, local purchasing processes, and the brand's operational requirements. Based on this, we implemented a Shopify store for the D2C and B2B channels, combining UX design with development to create a cohesive, scalable, and easy-to-manage online store.

Data migration from the Spanish market

We carried out data migration from the existing Spanish market, so that the Polish sales ecosystem could launch with an organized database of products, information, and processes. This allowed the brand to maintain operational continuity, leverage existing resources, and launch sales faster in the new market.

Implementation of Odoo Enterprise .sh as the operational center

We implemented Odoo Enterprise .sh as a central system for managing orders, accounting, CRM, and purchasing. The system was integrated with the Shopify store, allowing SANTAMADRE to handle back-office processes in one place and efficiently manage B2C and B2B sales.
