SANTAMADRE is a brand of modern dietary supplements and functional foods created for athletes, based on scientific research and innovation. The company offers products that improve performance, endurance, and facilitate recovery, focusing on natural ingredients, vegan formulas (gluten and lactose-free), and sustainable development.

SANTAMADRE entered the Polish market with a mature sales model developed in Spain, but needed a local implementation strategy that would allow for a quick launch of D2C sales, while simultaneously preparing the brand to serve B2B customers.
The key challenge was to create a cohesive e-commerce ecosystem based on Shopify, encompassing UX, development, data migration, and adapting sales processes to Polish realities, including integration with local delivery methods. Concurrently, it was necessary to build a central system for operations management. The brand needed a solution that would combine B2C and B2B sales with order processing, accounting, CRM, and purchasing in one place.
SANTAMADRE had already been developing its sales operations in the Spanish market, but expansion into Poland required a dedicated local implementation strategy. The key challenge was to adapt the sales model, operational processes, and eCommerce tools to the specific needs of the new market.
The brand needed a well-designed online store that would enable direct sales to end customers in Poland. The Shopify implementation had to cover both UX and development to ensure the store was ready to scale DTC sales.
Handling local orders, accounting, CRM, and purchasing required a centralized system to streamline back-office operations. The client needed a solution that would enable key processes to be managed from one place while reducing manual operational work.
SANTAMADRE needed to serve both end customers and business partners. The challenge was to implement a Shopify-based B2B platform and integrate it with Odoo so that B2B and B2C orders could be managed consistently within a single system.
The solution designed by attomy was based on two proven technologies: Shopify, used to launch a modern D2C and B2B sales channel, and Odoo Enterprise .sh, serving as the central system for managing orders, accounting, CRM, and purchasing. As part of the project, attomy developed the implementation strategy, designed the UX, and built the Shopify store, migrated data from the Spanish market, and implemented a B2B platform using Shopify’s native features, creating a cohesive environment for both retail and business sales.

"attomy truly understood our brand and adapted the UX and UI perfectly to the Polish market. The store performs very well and is exceptionally easy to use. They also did an excellent job building it on Shopify. Communication between our teams was smooth and effortless. I highly recommend them."

“In this project, we looked at eCommerce holistically – not just through the lens of launching a store, but also effective sales and the processes that need to work behind the scenes. Shopify allowed us to create a modern D2C channel for the Polish market, while Odoo streamlined operations, orders, purchasing, CRM, and accounting. As a result, SANTAMADRE received not just an online store, but a complete sales and operational ecosystem, prepared to serve B2C and B2B customers and further scale the business.”
